About Me

Julia is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s of Science from Syracuse University in New York. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Queen’s University in Kingston Ontario.  Her range of experience includes assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults in schools, rehabilitation hospitals, university-based clinics and homes. 

She has worked with pediatric and adult clients in the areas of articulation, phonology, fluency, receptive and expressive language, literacy, voice, social skills, and motor speech, as well as individuals with developmental disabilities (including Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum), acquired brain injuries and interest in accent addition.  

Julia’s creative and enthusiastic outlook help her to provide therapy sessions that are both effective and engaging for her clients.  She has collaborated with family members, teachers and other health care professionals to provide a high level of care. Julia continues to build on her knowledge and skills by attending conferences and workshops in the area of Speech Language Pathology.
